Blanche Davidian broke up
posted by Nikki Seven on March 22, 2008, 10:29:32 AM
I suppose this is old news by now, but nobody got around to posting it here, so I may as well do that now. Blanche Davidian officially broke up on Feb. 13th. Thanks to everyone who supported us and keep an eye out for future projects from the former Davidians.

Farewell Ozzy Osmond
posted by Nikki Seven on October 28, 2007, 08:33:07 PM
Last night was the farewell show for Zeb (Ozzy Osmond). He's leaving Blanche Davidian due to family issues that are taking him out of state for an undetermined amount of time, though he has an open invitation back whenever he's ready. It's going to be really odd not being on stage and in the studio with the guy since that's been my life for the past 3 years. Even though everyone is saying we sounded great last night, I'm pretty sure that was the only time I have let my mood negatively affect a performance. I wasn't playing poorly or anything, I just found it impossible to rock out after the reality set in that he wouldn't be there next time I was on stage.

This picture was taken right after we got off stage.

Information about our studio break-in and benefit show!

Our studio got broken into and they got Zeb's bass, Mike's Fender head, and all of Mike's pedals.

If anyone sees a black Fender Highway One Bass, Fender Bandmaster Head, or a bunch of boutique pedals in a pawn shop, please let one of us know so we can get it back.

The bass is a flat black version of this:

The head is more beat up than this one and was hot rodded by Voodoo Amps. It says Voodoo all over it and is signed on the inside.

Various pedals, most notably a Blue Keeley modded Boss chorus pedal and a Digitech Whammy.

Any help would be seriously appreciated!

TYLER KING promised us a few spins at last weeks BANNED IN TEMPE, held every Wednesday at Stray Cats on the Tempe/Mesa border

Saturday Aug 25th, The Fabulous Amy Donahue featured us on her show on KWSS 106.7FM. We basically fucked around, played about half the album as well as some of our favorite local tracks from Calabrese, Pinky Tuscadero's White Knuckle Ass Fuck, and Smokey Mountain Skullbusters.

Sunday night the legendary Jonathan L. played "Queef Action" on the Lopsided World of L. on KUPD 97.9FM. Right after a new Ministry song and we are pretty sure that is the second time in our history that KUPD has played Blanche Davidian after Minsitry (Lary Mac did it back in 2003).

Last night (Tuesday), Craven Moorhead played "Reveille" on the longest running Phoenix show dedicated to underground music, The Ska-Punk show on KEDJ The Edge 103.9FM. He played us right before Bad Religion...pretty clever.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO TYLER KING, AMY DONAHUE, JONATHAN L, and CRAVEN MOORHEAD for the LOVE!

This Sunday night (Sept 2nd) will we be in the KASC studios for a special night with our pal Ashley Harris. She has a long running local show called The Basement. We may even do a few songs acoustically. Call up and ask us silly questions at 480-965-1260. If you don't live near A.S.U. , you can stream the radio station online by going here: http://radio.theblaze1260.com:1260/listen.pls
